Induction seal integrity checks for bottles and jars

A good induction seal should be checked with more than a quick visual glance. Practical seal integrity checks help operators confirm that the foil bond is consistent before products leave the line.

Visual inspection

Look for continuous bonding around the mouth, no burnt areas, no loose foil edges and no obvious contamination. A seal can look neat while still being weak, so visual checks should be supported by physical tests.

Peel and leakage checks

Peel checks help confirm bond strength and consistency. Leakage checks are important for liquids, oils, syrups and other products where transit damage or customer complaints would be costly.

Record settings and results

Record power setting, conveyor speed, head height, cap torque, liner type and batch reference. This makes troubleshooting easier after maintenance, changeovers or material changes.
