A bottle induction sealing machine must be selected around the complete capped pack. Bottle height, cap diameter, liner material, container material and conveyor presentation all influence whether the seal is repeatable.
Why bottle data matters
Two bottles with the same cap size can behave differently if their mouth finish, height, material or stability is different. Provide the full range of bottle sizes when requesting machinery guidance.
Cap and liner details
The cap must hold the liner flat against the container mouth. Too little torque can allow weak seals; too much torque can damage liners or affect opening performance. Liner suitability should be confirmed with the closure supplier.
Machine position and speed
The bottle should pass centrally under the induction head with enough dwell time for the foil to heat and bond. Guide rails, spacing and conveyor stability can be as important as generator output.

Stable passage beneath the head is part of machine selection.
Tall, narrow, lightweight, oval or flexible bottles can move differently on a conveyor. Check centre of gravity, guide-rail contact, base shape, cap overhang and transfer points before assuming that a nominal bottle height fits the line.
For shaped packs, confirm the cap centre follows a repeatable path even when the bottle body is not symmetrical.
- Measure total height with the production cap fitted.
- Record maximum body width and cap overhang.
- Check stability at the intended conveyor speed.
- Identify neck handling or special guides if required.
- Trial the smallest, tallest and least stable formats.
