Where leaks start

Leaks often start at the container mouth because of poor cap fit, contaminated surfaces, incompatible liners or inconsistent torque. The sealer cannot correct every upstream issue, so the whole pack needs to be reviewed.

How induction sealing helps

The foil liner bonds to the mouth and creates a separate barrier below the cap. This can improve leakage control during handling and transport when the seal is continuous and correctly cooled.

An upright bench check may not represent inverted ecommerce shipping, side loading, temperature cycling or vibration. Define the distribution condition, product, fill level, cap torque and elapsed time before the leak test so results are comparable.

Where gas generation or pressure change is possible, assess whether a vented packaging solution is required rather than increasing seal strength without understanding the pack behaviour.
