Can one sealer handle every foil-lined cap?
No. Head range, cap geometry, liner construction, container material, bottle height and required duty can limit suitability. Group the intended packs and prove each combination.
What is the difference between a one-piece and two-piece liner?
A two-piece liner includes a secondary backing intended to remain in the cap after separation; a one-piece construction does not use that same reseal arrangement. The supplier must confirm the exact construction and seal layer.
Why is cooling time important before a peel check?
The bond can continue to set as the liner and container cool. Use a consistent cooling interval in the test method so samples are compared on the same basis.
Can a missing-foil detector confirm seal strength?
No. It can indicate whether a detectable foil component is present, but it does not prove cap torque, bond continuity or leak performance.
What does an air-cooled sealer need from the site?
It needs the quoted electrical supply, adequate airflow, suitable ambient conditions and clear fan/filter access, plus the same conveyor and control planning as any inline station.
When should a new sealing window be established?
Review it after changes to cap, liner, container, product, head, conveyor speed range or other conditions that can affect the bond.
Can the induction sealer compensate for product on the rim?
No. Product residue can interrupt the heat-seal bond. The filling and capping process should keep the sealing surface clean.
